My Current Skincare Routine
Hello evening. Happy Chinese New Year and happy holidayyy! My holiday for CNY only for 3 days lol. Tomorrow I'm gonna work as usual while others I heard they still have 1 week left for holiday. I'm a bit envious okay huhu. So today I'm gonna share to you all my current skincare routine that I have been sticked to for 1.5 year I guess.
Before we want to buy any skincare products, we must identify what our skin type. This can be done by observing ourselves or you can also go to watson/guardian/aeon wellness as there are beautician that has their sophisticated instrument which can analyze our skin type. I heard that the service is free of charge and not all outlet having them. My skin type is oily and combination skin and also acne prone skin. Around January 2018, I have read about korean skincare routine in facebook. I tried to follow the routine which is start from oil cleanser (night only) > cleanser > scrub (once a week) > toner > moisturizer > sunblock (day only).
1) Oil Cleanser
I'm pretty sure not all people aware about the use of oil cleanser. This is the secret korean have flawless and glowing skin. Oil cleanser is very necessary to those who have pores on their skin like me. It will deeply cleanse out all the dirt and oil in pores, avoiding clogged pores. It is very bad that normal cleanser cannot do this and ONLY oil cleanser can do this. I used oil cleanser from nutox and it doesn't break out my face at all. This step is only need to be done during night.
2) Cleanser
For normal cleanser, I choosed cetaphil gentle skin cleanser as there are many good review about this product. And Alhamdulillah, it work well on my skin. I can feel my skin is getting less oily after using this product.
3) Scrub
Scrub is also one of the important steps to get a glowing skin like korean. I used scrub from simple as this is recommended from someone (I don't know) from facebook. And again, Alhamdulillah this scrub is suitable for my sensitive skin as it is not too harsh on my skin. The granules just small and smooth. I do this step once a week, during weekend.
4) Toner & Moisturizer
Both this two I also used simple brand as recommended from the facebook XD and luckily they doesn't break out my face.
5) Sunblock
This is the most important part in korean skincare routine. If you follow all the steps before and not including sunblock, you will find that your skin won't change at all. Sunblock must be wear during the day as we go out and exposed to the sunlight. Bare face without any sunblock could enlarge the pores and darken the scars on our face.
So that's all my skincare routine. All my products doesn't have any fragrance or artificial perfume. I have read from the google saying that fragrance could irritates sensitive skin. I can feel my skin is getting less redness after using fragrance-free products.
Bare face (up to moisturizer)
P/S: My products might not be suitable for you, I have been try and error too. Just give a try and stay safe ;)
